International Consortium

Intercooperation (IC) is a leading Swiss NGO engaged in development and international cooperation. Intercooperation is a resource and knowledge organisation, combining a professional approach with social commitments .

Intercooperation's expertise, process competence and services are grouped around three principal working domains:

→ natural resource management
→ rural economy
→ local governance and civil society

Intercooperation supports partner organisations in more than twenty development and transition countries.

Intercooperation receives funding for projects and mandates from the Swiss Government, mainly SDC and seco, and from many other government and private, Swiss and international funding partners. Intercooperation is a non-profit making organisation. Any financial benefits generated are used for development activities.

Intercooperation is a foundation governed by 21 organisations , representing the development community, civil society and the private sector. Intercooperation is not a financial trust and therefore cannot respond to funding requests from NGOs and individuals.
